Friday 1st January 2021 – Trousers Point Flinders Island

Happy New Year!

The wind is still blowing 20+ knots from the east so we won’t be moving today.
We headed ashore for a walk with Lucy and to explore some caves which were accessible at low water.
On our way back to Escapade we met up with the folks aboard White Swan who had anchored nearby. They had sailed down from the Port Phillip Bay and were heading to the wooden boat school near Hounville. We headed over to their yacht later in the day for some drinks and a chat – they were great to talk too and very entertaining.
