Friday 12th February 2021 – Simmonds Bay, Bruny Island

The wind was forecast to blow from the west at 20-30 knots so we decided to stay at Simmonds Bay for an extra night.

We took the dinghy across to the main jetty and headed up the road for a walk around the bay. We had no sooner left the jetty when a blue heeler came running out from a partly enclosed yard barking with its hackles up. Ever since the incident in Triabunna Georgie’s been too nervous to take Lucy’s lead and not being overly keen for another attack Lucy and I sprinted up the road out of harm’s way.
