Wednesday 3 – 5th March – Kings Bay to Clytie Cove, Bathurst Channel

It was overcast and there was a break in the weather so we took the short dinghy ride across to the 2nd Celery Top Island. The Celery Top Islands have never been touched by fire. The undergrowth was thick and there are only a couple of short walks.

Once back at the boat we lifted anchor and motored around the corner to Clytie Cove for a change of scenery. Another gale warning had been issued for later in the day so we hunkered down playing card games, reading books and completing school work. Thankful for the diesel heater we waited for the bad weather to pass….which took 3 days. We did manage to escape to shore for a brief walk along a section of the south west walk.
