After Georgie and Tilly had completed their schoolwork each morning they kept themselves busy making a video. It was great to see their creativity at work, as they dressed up in numerous costumes and makeup to play out each character. The finished product was great entertainment and a credit to both girls.
Mark had been constantly monitoring the weather forecast looking for the weather window which would allow us to go to Port Davey. Saturday was looking promising, which meant It was time to for us to make a move. We loved Bruny Island, Kettering and the surrounding area but we were ready to explore new ground.
We departed Simpsons Bay mid-morning and motored back to Kettering to drop off tilly and catch up with Andrew, Sam, Max. We cast off at 1230 and motor sailed down to Deep Hole Bay at Southport. The sailing ship Lady Nelson followed us down the channel and into Southport. It was interesting to note that a number of other vessels had started to arriving at Recearche Bay in preparation for their departure to Port Davey.
